Li Xiangjun (male, Han ethnicity, CPC member, Ph.D. in Economics, postgraduate supervisor) is Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the National Academy of Financial and Economic Strategy (NAFES) at the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), Director of the CUFE Investment and Financing Research Center, and Research Fellow and Deputy Director of the Beijing Base for Financial and Economic Research (Beijing Philosophy and Social Sciences). He also serves as a Council Member of the Chinese Society of Technology Economics, a Council Member of the Regional Science Association of China, a Council Member of the China Humic Acid Industry Association, a Founding Member of the Zhongguancun Green Industry Alliance, and an external expert for the World Bank China Energy Efficiency Financing Project. His main research areas include investment and financing management, as well as economic theory and policy. He has published over 30 academic papers and authored or co-authored 7 books. He has directed two key Beijing Philosophy and Social Sciences projects and has led more than 50 research projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (sub-projects), the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, as well as various ministries, government departments, financial institutions, enterprises, and public institutions.
